Parkinson's Disease: A Practical Approach to Evaluation & Treatment for the Physical Therapist- Presented by the Parkinson's Disease Foundation in collaboration with American Parkinson Disease Association, American Physical Therapy Association and Visiting Nurse Service of New York.
There are nearly one million people living in the United States with Parkinson’s disease. This means that physical therapists (PTs) in most practice settings will be managing individuals with Parkinson’s disease as a primary diagnosis or as a co-morbidity. Join your colleagues and nationally recognized experts to discuss current evidencebased approaches to effectively evaluate and treat individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Participants will return to their clinical practice armed with a toolbox of evaluation and treatment options spanning the continuum of care, as well as a current guide to resources for themselves and their patients.
